‘Cause Love Is Never There

Did I ever tell you,
Of how I regret the day,
When I first saw love and beauty,
Come walking down my way?

Things haven’t been the same,
Since I saw your tender face,
Life is just an awful game,
All I have is your warm embrace.

Life is never ending,
It eithers stays in love,
Or ends up all in pain.
I pray to the Lord above,
To help me stop this rain.

I don’t know where to start,
To tell you how I feel.
I just lay here in the dark,
And hope that it’s unreal.

I can’t stop thinking about,
How much I really care,
It doesn’t seem to matter,
‘Cause love is never there.
