Unprepared

By Dru Macasieb

Unprepared,
For what I think should be,
Unimaginable,
For what I see in front of me…

Can’t deny the fact,
We can’t work this out,
Can’t run away from the truth,
And what its all about…

It seems so unbelievable,
It has come to this,
So unacceptable,
We taste our final kiss…

I won’t forget,
Lessons I learned from you,
I won’t throw away,
Memories I hold true…

Cause I’m so,
Unprepared for this last moment of love,
So very unprepared,
For this final hug…

And I’ll try,
To wipe the tears from my eyes…

So now,
We stand a great distance apart,
But you will always remain in my heart.
