Once upon a time,
In a land torn apart,
Came a beauty so divine.
Who stole my lonely heart…
Little did I know,
Another saw her shine,
And opened up his heart…
Little did I show,
The love inside mine,
Which wasn’t very smart…
So now I’m slowly dying,
While thinking of how to live,
My heart’s tired of crying,
What can I give?
I would see her with him,
Every single day,
Stabbing my heart,
Melting away…
I finally found the courage,
To show the love I kept,
She healed all the pain,
And fixed what was left…
I felt true pleasure,
The other guy felt massive pain,
How can she be a treasure,
When one goes insane?
He became my foe,
She became my life,
I became entangled,
Between wrong and right…
My friends became strangers,
And I stood alone,
Dying in darkness,
Searching for a home…
I knew me and her,
Can never ever be,
Because I know,
It will hurt him,
And truly hurt me…
So a year has passed,
A time for anew.
But this love has lasted,
It has lived it through…
I found a new friend,
Who was my bitter foe.
Planted seeds of friendship,
Waiting for it to grow…
Then she came back,
With attractiveness in the air,
I still have funny feelings,
Knowing she’s there.
I know my friend feels it too,
The love she gives away,
He tries to hide the clues,
That his love had stayed…
We all became friends,
But one thing I know,
If she chose one of us,
Our friendships would go…
Relate this to you,
If you must,
This is the story,
The story of us.
